Judges of the CIS Economic Court

In accordance with paragraph 6 of the Regulations of the Economic Court of the CIS Economic Court of the CIS is made up of an equal number of judges from each Member State. The judges of the Economic Court shall be independent and inviolable, not subject to the jurisdiction of the State, they can not be held criminally or administratively liable in court, arrested, drive without the consent of the CIS Economic Court. Chairman of the CIS Economic Court, his deputies and judges may not represent the interests of any kind whatsoever state or interstate agencies and organizations, commercial entities, political parties and movements, as well as the territories of nations, nationalities, social and religious groups and individuals. They shall not engage in any activity related to the receipt of income, except for research and teaching.

Chairman of the CIS Economic Court organizes the work of the unit the CIS Economic Court, approves the structure and staff, appoint and dismiss employees of, determine the conditions of their remuneration, carries out other duties within their competence. At the organizational meeting of the CIS Economic Court April 8, 2008 Chairman of the CIS Economic Court Abdulloev Faizullo elected as Vice-President - Zholdybaev Sabit Zheksengalievich.

In accordance with the Agreement between the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Republic of Belarus on the conditions of residence of the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the Republic of Belarus, the CIS Economic Court of privileges and immunities is equated to the diplomatic missions of foreign states in the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

Judges and members of their families shall enjoy the same privileges and immunities granted in the Republic of Belarus, the diplomatic representatives of foreign states and their family members, except judges, are citizens of the Republic of Belarus, as well as their families. If the judge is a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, he uses only immunity from prosecution for acts committed by them while on duty.
