24.04.2009 Competitions for positions of judges announced
The National Council on Justice Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic announced competitions to fill in vacant judicial positions of judges of Kara-Suiskiy rayon court of Osh Oblast, Sverdlovskiy rayon court of Bishkek city and the Supreme Court of the KR. The deadline for submission of documents is May 7, 2009.

14.04.2009 The National Council on Justice Affairs held a media-workshop for journalists
During the meeting the Chair of the National Council, judge of the Constitutional court of the KR A. A. Abdugaparov, the Deputy Chair, Parliament member of JK of the KR I. V. Letova, a lawyer of public union ‘Act to support family’ B. M. Tolubaeva informed about the activities of the Council and answered journalists’ questions. The representatives of ‘Erkin Too’, ‘MSN’, ‘Obshestvenniy reiting’, ‘Delo №..’ and ‘Zakon zemli’ participated in the meeting.
